Chie Guitard is a dedicated bookkeeper at New Westminster Family Place, bringing over 10 years of experience in finance and accounting to the team. Originally from Japan, Chie graduated from university and began her career in a manufacturing company before transitioning to the role of Financial Supervisor at the company’s California office.
In 2011, Chie moved to Montreal, where she welcomed her first child and embraced the challenge of learning French. Relocating to New Westminster in 2014, she discovered the invaluable support of Family Place through its drop-in programs, which she utilized until her children began school. Now, as a bookkeeper, Chie is thrilled to reconnect with the community that has supported her family.
Outside of work, Chie is an avid knitter and crocheter who cherishes spending quality time with her family.
